After the first rains in Harare, the streets transform into a stunning lilac carpet of fallen Jacaranda blossoms. Before the rains, these vibrant flowers create a striking contrast against the sky, but once they fall, they blanket the ground.

Elemental equivalents of cyclical patterns comprise Rosselli’s body of work entitled ‘After the rain’ in acrylic on canvas. Rosselli is transforming her elemental sensations experienced during the rains in Zimbabwe to vivid impulse lead compositions.
