‘Love is Love’, 2022, Mixed Media, 85 x 85 cm

‘The Love is love performances’ is a series of photographs of Rosselli taken by her partner, Martina Gruber. Rosselli and Gruber have struggled living in Zimbabwe, a country where same sex relationships are illegal. Yet in spite of this, the works evoke a sense of joy, the water is both powerful and healing. This series is a celebration of their union that has flourished in spite of these restrictions and the freedom they have managed to find against all the odds.
