Elemental equivalents of cyclical patterns comprise Rosselli’s body of work entitled ‘After the rain’ in acrylic on canvas. Rosselli is transforming her elemental sensations experienced during the rains in Zimbabwe to vivid impulse lead compositions.

This work captures a very cleared after-the-rain state that is opening up for the successive period. Rosselli transcends the concreteness of the landscape into a bright, viewless spot of abundance ready to step in and plant the first seeds of the season.
