Alchemy of Joy uses intuitive, vivid colour and expressive brushstrokes to perform, rather than depict, joy. Painted in Vienna, the work captures fleeting light and emotion through bright, unblended hues and raw textures. The white background acts as a light source, highlighting the vibrancy of the paint. Joy here is an alchemical process of turning emotional weight into radiant expression.
